Rehearsal/Pictures/Recital

Dress Rehearsal

It is very important that you make it to rehearsal as this is the only time that the dancers will be on the stage prior to their big performance. Please make note this is a FULL costume dress rehearsal; pictures WILL be taken this day. Please do NOT reserve seats in the auditorium on rehearsal day.

SLS Photography is coming back to do our pictures!!! You are not required to purchase pictures; however, we still need every dancer to participate so we can do group pictures. The prices are very reasonable, and the photographers have been amazing!! The photographers have a website that you will log into after the event for you to order the pictures online. They generally have the option for the pictures to be shipped to you, pick up at their studio in Campbellsport or by us at the Dance Studio.

Recital

Please have your dancers in full costume and stage ready at least 30 minutes before their show time. Please have all shoes labeled, we have a LOT of students and shoes can easily get mixed up when backstage.

Videography:

Seth James is going to come back again this year and record the video for us!! The videos are $20 each and can be purchased prior to the recital or the day of. They will be delivered a couple weeks after recital once the videos are edited.

Bake Sale:

We would like to put on a bake sale again, the proceeds will be used to help cover costs of the recital if you would like to contribute bake goods, please bring them with to the rehearsal. Please individually wrap your items – the plan is to have each item be $1, please keep this in mind when packaging. (we will also have a donation bucket as well if baking is not your thing)

Basket Raffle:

If you would like to donate a basket or know of someone that would like to from a local business that would be amazing! Please let me know if you are able/willing to donate! Baskets can be brought to the studio ahead of time or the day of the Recital – we won’t turn them away. Tickets will be drawn at the end of the second show - you do not need to be present to win.

Flowers:

Heartfelt Flowers from Lomira will be hosting a table with flowers for you to purchase at the recital!! They had done a wonderful job with some great pricing options for you the day of the recital.

Helpers:

If you would like to help at the recital at one of the tables (raffle, bake sale, etc), watching dancers back stage, clean up etc, please email me and I will put your name down or sign up at the studio. Thank you in advance!!!

We appreciate any help we can get to make this a great show!

End Of Year Parties

We end the year with a celebration of dance. The week after the dance recital we gather at the studio and have snacks, dance and sign up for summer and fall dance.
